The table is made from a single Maple “cookie” that has been split in two and spun around to create a symmetrical balance between two nonsymmetrical shapes.  The maple has stunning characteristics including splating and ambrosia beetle stains.  The black walnut legs provide contrast with a touch of elegant styling.  Pay particular attention to the joinery from the flowing live edge cookie to the clean contemporary lines of the leg.
